Hydraulic Atomizing Single Fluid Dust Suppression Systems

The system decomposes and atomizes the high pressure water coming into the single fluid nozzles and turns it into 5-50 micron water fog. Except for the high pressure pump, there is no need for air compressor, control panel, hydrophore and separate hose lines for air-water supply to obtain water fog. In the single fluid dust suppression system, the water coming from the high pressure pump (40-45 bar / 580-650 psi) rotates at high speed with the help of the moving helix part inside the nozzle and compresses at the nozzle outlet and separates into micro-sized particles and becomes water fog. The helix part that allows the water in the nozzle to rotate at a high speed also prevents 50% automatic cleaning inside the nozzle and prevents the nozzle from clogging.

HYDRAULIC ATOMIZING NOZZLES

Single-fluid atomizing nozzles atomize water into a 5- to 30-micron mist. The water supply from a high-pressure pump (40-45 bar/580-650 psi) is forced to rotate at high speed, moving the spiral portion of the nozzle. This causes the water to atomize into a mist. Hydraulic atomizing nozzles are manufactured in different shapes depending on their use and purpose. Helical parts are assembled, with stationary parts being the most commonly used. Helical parts also provide 50% self-cleaning by rotating them.

Fine mist atomizing nozzles are used only with pressurized liquid to produce very fine atomized droplets in a hollow-cone spray pattern with uniform distribution, often achieving misting performance.

Orifice inserts, cores, and filters are easy to disassemble for inspection or cleaning. The hydraulic spray nozzle series features a removable core for easy cleaning or replacement.

PLC - SCADA SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)

SCADA screen on the automation system makes it possible to control and monitor system parameters. The system functions are listed below:

  1. It notifies the operator about the malfunction and solution methods in case of a malfunction.

  2. Water tank supply line flow and water tank level can be monitored.

  3. Sediment and mud accumulated on the bottom of the tank can be monitored via mud sensor and discharge process of mud and sediment can be controlled.

  4. Monitoring water flow from water tank to centrifugal pump.

  5. Monitoring centrifugal pump status (flow – non-flow).

  6. Monitoring the status of automatic back-flush filters, (back-flush is running).

  7. Monitoring water supply from disk filters to high pressure pump.

  8. Monitoring high pressure pump.

  9. Monitoring pressure at the outlet of every proportional ball valve on the collector that distributes water coming from high pressure pump to different points.

  10. Pressure and flow rate at every line can be controlled by means of controlling electric actuated proportional controlled ball valves.

  11. Indicating a clogging at the secondary filters.

  12. Winter and summer mode can be switched on/off.

  13. When the winter mode of the system is selected, the system will not be started in one minute after it is stopped, water discharge process with pressurized air automatically starts for preventing water freeze and damage to the system. This process can be monitored from the SCADA screen.

  14. SCADA system warns the operator via warning lights and audio in case of a malfunction when the system equipment has water inside or air discharge cannot be completed.

  15. System software allows a authorized supervisor to monitor and print a report of on-off times, daily and hourly water consumption of the system. System does not let anyone except the supervisor to reach, copy or delete these data.

  16. Dust suppression system measures instantaneous dust amount in the air and records with date and time if the amount of dust is measured above limits. This situation is also recorded by a camera mounted on the system. System does not let anyone except the supervisor to reach, copy or delete these data.
